I am Doris Evans, Founder and CEO of "Young Women In Transformation" (YWIT). Young Women In Transformation was established in 2014. (YWIT) strives to spread awareness about homeless young adult women transitioning out of foster care, juvenile detention, run-a-ways in the community. Young adults between the ages of 18-24 years old suffers economically and emotionally, detached from their families and experiencing homelessness, living in an unstable or inadequate living situations.
As part of our efforts our program provides specialize services such as job training, affordable housing, tutoring, counseling, and providing information on health care. Many youth in foster care, juvenile justice, and/or mental health systems become homeless when they transition out without the support and opportunities for housing and employment they need.
Please help save these young women from homelessness, death, drug addiction, and a life on the street. Lets support these young women and help them transition into leading productive lives, empowering these women will enable them to be members in society.
Sincerely,
Doris Evans, Founder/CEO
